Update post!! Today, I have read:
Superman/Batman: #8 - #13. These issues are Kara's post-crisis re-appearance and I loved them a whole lot! Superman/Batman is always funny with both Superman's and Batman's thought boxes being put out at the same time. They really know what the other is thinking and are somehow so in sync and in complete opposition at all times. How embarrassing for you freaks. Kara's state when arriving to Earth just absolutely broke my heart, and I believe the comic really captured the horror and the desperation and the hopelessness you feel if you crash landed on an unknown planet, naked and confused. This panel in particular made my heart weep. Kara, my poor baby <3

I do feel a little bit aggravated at how fast Kara learned English - and three other Earth languages as well - in a month. I always don't like when stories bump against the language barrier and dismiss it and jump over it in ridiculous matters. If you do that, at least keep it in continuity! The language barrier would be an interesting thing to explore for Kara's story, but I do understand when you don't want to focus on it. But the reason they made for Kara to learn so many languages in a month; at least use that later on in the story. Otherwise it feels like a cop-out. Kara using her language learning skills in hero work, for example, would be immensely cool and would add so much to her character!
And with that, let me leave you with my quote from this arc:
>This vessel carries my daughter Kara Zor-El from the now dead planet Krypton. Treat her as you would your own child for you will see the treasure she will be for your world.I will put this piece of text everywhere from now on - I love it I love it I love it.
